bodylanguage is a process-based creative practice that brings together language (English + any other languages you know and care to explore) and movement through a unique methodology I’ve been developing over the past 7 years. Together we will collaborate on embodied translations, dialogic experiments, and other wordplay, chewing on meaning and digesting it through our dancing bodies. This work is open to people with all experience levels —> all you need is your body and an open mind.

Movenglish
(ongoing big nerdy project)
Movenglish is a movement language-in-progress in which each English word’s embodied translation attempts to capture every aspect of that word [e.g. sound, meaning, connotation, tense, difficulty, part of speech etc.]. Movenglish attempts to preserve existing relationships between words and to create a consistent, rule-based grammatical structure that is easily applied to novel situations. Movenglish’s notation system is simply regular English, which alleviates many of the difficulties and complexities that other notation systems face.
